The collar ties are installed between the rafters. We determine that we do not have enough 2" x 6" lumber to make the last set of rafters. My carpenter makes a trip for more lumber.










I make the rafters and my carpenter installs them.

The gable is completed on both ends.

The remaining rafters are installed and the ceiling joists are nailed down completely along with the upper wall. We will still need to trim the ceiling joists before applying the roof sheathing. We also receive delivery of the French Door and window today. It took three weeks instead of eight. I plan to call the county inspector to check our work before installing the roof.
